The differences that are on record
Halls of Torment is by Chasing Carrots, an isometric action RPG with a 30-minute hall, heroes unlocked by quests, and two paid stage DLCs. Vampire Survivors is a different game by poncle. On 29 October 2026 the Nintendo US store listed Vampire Survivors for Switch at $3.99. The same search did not list Halls of Torment. That is the practical split if you own a Switch and nothing else.

Who each store page is for
Pick Halls of Torment if you want the quest board, the hero unlocks, and the PC or console version Chasing Carrots is shipping. Pick the Switch copy of Vampire Survivors if the console is the constraint. I am not declaring a winner. Brotato ($4.99) and 20 Minutes Till Dawn ($4.99) were also on the US eShop that day if you are shopping the same shelf.
