Halls of Torment Mobile: Free vs Premium vs DLC
Checked 2026-10-29. Covers 1.0, The Boglands (2025-10-28) and The Lost Archives (2026-10-22).
Premium and the free mobile app are separate products. On 29 October 2026, the US App Store displayed $2.99 for Premium while Google Play displayed $4.99. The official FAQ and Erabit both say mobile progress does not sync with Steam.

Three products, not one
Erabit Studios ships two phone apps. Premium is a paid port. The free app is a freemium build with ads and in-app purchases, and its own session length: the App Store free listing describes runs of 6 to 15 minutes. Steam and the consoles are the Chasing Carrots PC/console game. Buying Premium does not unlock Steam DLC, and a Steam purchase does not unlock the phone.

Cross save
The pinned Steam FAQ, updated 24 September 2024, says the mobile version arriving 10 October 2024 would not have compatible saves. Erabit later wrote on Reddit that progress synchronization is not currently supported. No official Steam-to-mobile transfer procedure was found. iOS Premium does have its own iCloud save support in the App Store version history; this does not make it compatible with Steam.
The Boglands DLC did reach Premium. An Erabit Reddit post announced the DLC on mobile and said it shipped across two updates. I have no matching post for The Lost Archives.
Questions and answers
Does Premium include every DLC?
No. On 29 October 2026 Premium’s announced stage DLC was The Boglands. The Lost Archives was not on the phone listings I checked, and it is a separate purchase on Steam.
Is the free version the full base game with ads?
No. Erabit’s freemium notes describe a different session length and extra unlock systems. It is not the Steam 1.0 campaign with a banner on top.
Do controllers work?
Erabit answered “yes” on the Premium launch thread. Players on that thread also said the on-screen stick cannot be hidden. Both remarks are from one Reddit thread.
